To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 同事推薦我吃這家南記粉面,未講原因。不過來到這裡看到餐牌就明白了,一碗鴛鴦河才只要22hkd(還是21hkd記不清了)。而各種酸辣小窩米線也是30出頭的樣子,照片十分的吸引。簡單一碗鴛鴦米,感覺魚丸和牛丸是一般般的,沒有什麼彈牙的感覺,不是很好吃。但也不是不能接收。還有個油油的東西,是春卷?我還以為是魚皮餃。很多人向我推薦,我卻十分不喜歡,太油了,沒什麼蛋白質的感覺。不過才22蚊呀,不能抱怨什麼了。湯底還比較鮮甜的,但喝完會口渴。也試過這裡的韭菜餃子酸辣小窩米線。餃子很一般,裏面沒有什麼餡,不過香港朋友說好吃。讓我個北京人對這樣的餃子收貨實在很難 值得贊的是碗裏很多芽菜和豆皮,比較清爽。米線比較細,口感不錯,煮的不爛。湯是酸辣湯底,但我感覺不出辣味,挺好喝,有絲絲甜味,裏面肯定加了糖。於是喝了很多,撐了一下午我第一次來這裡是一個下雨天,很少人出街食飯,所以不用排队也有位置。如果人不多的話也許還會來,但鑒於一般時間都要排隊半小時,還是算了吧~~
