To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

原先訂咗一間餐廳食飯，但因為某些原因所以取消左，跟住即刻上OpenRice 搜尋，最後搵到呢間見好多人俾好評，就上去試吓，餐廳環境裝修唔算好靚，但勝在有水泥feel，餐廳內只有一位侍應，安排坐低睇餐牌後點咗個餐，先嚟加錢龍蝦湯，份量極少又唔熱，跟住嚟麵包，之後就意粉，個意粉食落已經覺得咸咗啲，勉強可以接受，但之後嚟個肉眼扒就大鑊，咸到只有鹽味無扒味，好似直接食緊鹽，真係頂唔順同個水巴職員講，佢話換過，嚟到最激氣係換過嗰块肉唔係肉眼扒，係唔知牛嘅咩部份肉，非常薄，食落去口感怪，肉質有啲粉粉地，似食緊潤feel，汁少咗但仍然係咸嘅，從未試過食物質素咁差，咁嘅價錢俾咁嘅食物質素，後來再睇差食評先知原來之前已有食客講過話咸，但都無改善，服務態度冷漠，呢餐非常不愉快，總之中伏！
