To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 十二月五日 (星期日)回來了這個五日的台北美食之旅收穫甚豐老公仔特別喜歡吃老天祿的雞脾和苦瓜大王的苦瓜汁回到香港仍然對台北的美食念念不忘落機拿取行李時遇見Eason!之後,就到了翡翠拉麵小籠包吃晚餐才回家炸鱔是前菜,加上了蜜汁,很惹味可是我覺得太甜了,鱔肉亦不炸得太脆,沒有質感上海小籠包皮薄肉汁多,此店的小籠包着實做得出色,有保證我很喜歡上海炒年糕,因為那咬口的感覺!這裡的年糕煮得剛好,帶點煙韌配料亦弄得好吃第一次吃這裡的甜品燉雙皮奶奶味濃郁,相當滑溜!台北的美食著實多不勝數,這裡沒地方寫有興趣的靖到架麵的facebook album 一看...
