Located in the heart of Quarry Bay, the Pirata Group presents their new collection of restaurants The Sixteenth in Taikoo Place.
Tried out the 1970s-styled Italian trattoria, La Favorita earlier, the food and service were pure excellence.
We tried out the tasting menu and it was just what I have been longed for! Topped off with generous amount of olive oil and black pepper, this huge burrata is so luscious and tasty! 𝐵𝑒𝑒𝑓 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑐𝑖𝑜 were strewn with freshly grated cheese, simple and savoury.
One of the highlights of this meal was the 𝐶ℎ𝑒𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑎𝑙 𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑓𝑜! Hot pasta tossed in this large cheese wheel was so cheesy and creamy! Freshly grated Italian truffles added extra aroma. We were so amazed by the 𝐵𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑐𝑎 𝐴𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝐹𝑖𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑎, the huge plate of 1lg T-bone steak - it was huge! Tender, juicy, saturated with flavours with mixed leaves and garlic, soooo perfect
Finishing off this amazing meal with nice dessert, I particularly love the 𝑙𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑛 𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑏𝑒𝑡. Light, citrusy, brightened the palate a bit after this great feast!
