To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 呢排公司日日OT,放工連食飯嘅動力都冇,更莫講話要自己煮啦,但想第二日繼續有力工作,點都要對自己個胃好啲,即刻打電話叫屋企人落樓一齊食個晚餐。可能就快八點,人唔算多,唔使等位好快就可以入去坐低,不過啲位好細、有啲迫。坐低之後,叫咗個涼瓜,為呢排捱夜清熱下,個苦瓜炒得一啲都唔苦,連平時唔鍾意食苦瓜嘅老公都食咗,越食越開胃之下,再叫多碟鴨,一啲油膩嘅感覺都冇,本身冇咩胃口嘅我都越食越開胃,本來諗住兩個人食一碗飯,最後都嗌咗一人一碗。以後開OT都唔使驚冇啖好食。
