To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 老公交帶今晚要食得清淡d,本來我打算返屋企煮水餃算,佢竟然話去潮庭食飯,最後仲食埋魚翅。平日夜晚都半滿,好在唔洗等位,佢未到我就先叫晚魚蛋粉食住先。黎過幾次,今次至第一次食魚蛋粉,手打魚蛋河粉($50):河粉都幾滑,呷左啖湯底尚算可以,至少飲完唔會口渴。魚蛋同魚片質素ok,呢個真係清淡之選。老公到左之後要食翅潮州紅燒牙揀翅($348):潮式風格的魚翅,湯底濃厚,魚翅都幾足料,加埋醋同芫茜令味道更提升!潮州原盅雞燉翅($348):我鍾意飲雞湯所以呢個翅好適合我,真係見到一梳梳翅針,雞湯湯底又清,係一個好高貴的雞湯呢!好百年鹵水鵝片($148):鵝片都幾足料,啖啖肉,墊底的豆腐索滿鹵水,好味!鯧魚片肉碎粥($60):有鯧魚片的潮式泡飯,伴鵝片食一流!潮州家鄉煎蠔烙($126):呢個就麻麻地了,煎得唔夠香,個底仲要淋晒⋯本來今餐晚飯整體感覺良好,但就被臨尾個蠔餅破壞了,早知叫少呢樣啦。
