之前山長山遠黎到太古廣場,諗住係樓上食漢堡包,但去到又揀唔落手。最尾好肚餓既無諗咁多,見到Thai Basil都幾多人,望一眼menu就立即入左黎坐低。坐低我地光速揀野食,餐廳上菜都好快,如果唔係我地隻餓鬼一定反檯。軟殼蟹米紙卷最先黎到嘅就係呢款米紙卷,平時我食既米紙卷擺盤都比較單調,幾碌野好孤單光脫脫咁棟係碟度,對比起,呢間餐廳喺擺盤方面都有花啲心思。米紙皮唔會軟爛,帶啲煙韌又唔痴牙唔難𡁻。軟殼蟹微溫唔油膩,少少鹹卜卜脆。卷內蔬菜同牛油果醬平衡番,令成個卷變得清爽。淋係旁邊嘅芫茜油都唔會搶味,唔食芫茜嘅人應該唔多覺。呢個米紙卷佢配左一碟醬,係沙律醬加蝦油(不過蝦油又係無乜存在感),甜甜酸酸,增加左米紙卷味道嘅層次感。生菜包呢款生菜包有豬肉同鴨肉,肉碎炒得乾身,鴨肉都無膻味。加埋啲香料、芫茜、羅勒葉,真係好香口!生菜同埋醃洋蔥balance番重口味既肉碎,三兩啖就輕鬆KO成碟。不過事實無咁輕鬆,因為呢碟對我黎講有啲辣,食完呢個,食乜都係辣嘅。Pad Thai廚師將金邊粉炒得條條分明,同時又唔會滿口油,或者變左濕炒咁。亦都唔會好似有啲香港泰菜咁,落勁多茄汁當羅望子汁,最尾入口飲茄汁咁款。

生菜包
呢款生菜包有豬肉同鴨肉,肉碎炒得乾身,鴨肉都無膻味。加埋啲香料、芫茜、羅勒葉,真係好香口!生菜同埋醃洋蔥balance番重口味既肉碎,三兩啖就輕鬆KO成碟。不過事實無咁輕鬆,因為呢碟對我黎講有啲辣,食完呢個,食乜都係辣嘅。

Pad Thai
廚師將金邊粉炒得條條分明,同時又唔會滿口油,或者變左濕炒咁。亦都唔會好似有啲香港泰菜咁,落勁多茄汁當羅望子汁,最尾入口飲茄汁咁款。不過話呢個pad thai 認真好好味又算唔上,個人認為可以落多少少其他配料係入面(例如豆腐乾)增加口感。

青咖哩雞
一開頭只係求其嗌咖哩雞,點知入口就有驚喜。雞肉唔鞋口,無雪藏味,而且有好香烤過嘅味道,令成味餸增加左樣特色。咖哩汁濃稠度適中,集合哂雞肉、蔬菜同香料嘅精華,嗌個薄餅黎點汁就一流!泰國茄子唔會煮到爛,保持口感外脆內軟。唯獨個人麻麻地泰國果啲bb茄子(好似豆咁大粒果啲,唔知叫咩名),咬落係爽脆帶點苦澀味嘅,以前去泰國食都係咁嘅味,但真係唔識欣賞。

Thai Lemongrass
蔓越莓汁、Cuban Rum 呢啲好易溝下溝下有陣藥水味。但試完味又將好味喎,清甜易入口。香茅加左入去好清爽,微微有辣口嘅感覺,但又唔會喧賓奪主,無破壞成杯野各食材嘅和諧。佢又加左calamansi,多左啲citris味酸酸地,成杯野唔會得死甜,而係少少刺激得黎又唔會好heavy好難入口,都幾有驚喜。


本身對呢間餐廳無期望,始終係我地誤打誤撞咁入黎,一黎未食過,二黎又未睇過食評,連有咩食都唔太知既情況下揀左呢間,心諗無中伏都偷笑。點知又唔錯喎衰鬼。聽到隔離檯盛讚咖哩蟹同燒菠蘿,下次要試試先。
