To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 生日飯,前一日book 左位,要求坐近窗口,但嚟到冇得近窗口,待應話有book 左,但最後我地食完飯窗口個兩張枱都係冇人坐。第二次嚟食飯,今次叫左六樣嘢食,半隻烤鴨、菜苗、生煎包、炒年糕、咕嚕肉同埋雜錦炒飯。烤鴨係最signature 嘅菜,鴨味好香,尤其係食用鴨皮包嚟食嘅時候特別香,個人喺北京食完填鴨,北京有多過一種醬,配料會有洋蔥同埋紅蘿蔔絲,味道比較豐富,但北京樓個醬已經吊到鴨肉嘅香味!菜苗唔係度度有得食,呢度嘅菜苗有爽夠香,我哋已經係第二次食。雜錦炒飯雖然好似平平無奇,但廚師炒得好好,飯粒乾身分明,飯有少少Q彈,又夠香,幾乎每粒飯都有蛋包住,夠鍋氣但又唔會油膩!反而,生煎包,炒年糕同埋咕嚕肉比較失色。生煎包包皮唔煙韌,幾厚,食落有爆汁,但湯汁唔係好夠味,可能比包皮蓋住咗。炒年糕不過不失,冇咩特色,年糕夠味又有咬口。咕嚕肉整體唔錯,真材實料,唔會太厚粉漿,但下次再嚟北京樓,相信唔會再點一般大排檔都食到嘅菜,試下其他特色小菜會唔會開心啲?
