To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 平時總見到一堆人在門外等位,令我卻步。今晚6點半左右到達,不用等位便可以立刻入坐,實在少見。一坐下來便想點那個Set,因為我和J先生也有選擇困難症!但之後才發現會員才可以點那個Set…唯有再埋首餐牌吧。先上的是牛角沙律。生菜蕃茄也很新鮮,但略嫌醬汁有點不足,吃到底部時有點乾乾的。吃過沙律後開始燒肉了。先來鹽味牛油帶子和蛋黃醬海老。兩者都需要把鐵板放到燒烤網上預熱。熱辣辣燒起的帶子充滿牛油香,很快被消滅了。而那個蝦也很好,每隻蝦都沾上了蛋黃醬,份外惹味!至於主角上級牛肋肉更是意外驚喜,不但燒肉時已傳出陣陣香味,入口也比平常吃到的淋。即使燒久了也不覺韌,但不建議加上太多調味料,不然會很鹹。而香草芝士雞肉則有點膩,連我這個芝士痴也有點吃不消。牛角飯則只是紫菜加白飯,還有少許醬汁,沒什麼特別。而最後的野菜盛合則好壞參半,粟米很甜,冬菇也不錯。但其餘的例如茄子、南瓜就好像不太新鮮。飲料方面點Kyoho Grape Collagen 和 Peach Collagen。據稱內含骨膠原,雖然功效不得而知,但作為一杯消滯飲料就合格有餘。可以一試。對於一次來的我們,很多時我們都不知如何入手,店員的細心講解
