Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 西九龍高鐵站除了搭高鐵返大陸,裡面還有不少的食肆,當中名氣最大的,莫過於添好運。與其他分店相比,這間的人潮不算多,來的大都是旅客,一行幾人,等了十多分鐘便有位了。由於價錢便宜,我們點了很多點心,有鳳爪、馬拉糕、奶皇包、南乳豬手、叉燒腸、蝦餃、炒麵、糯米雞和脆皮叉燒包。當中最愛的一定是脆皮叉燒包和馬拉糕,脆皮叉燒包外皮脆卜卜,一咬開便能吃到滿口熱乎乎的叉燒,大小適中,幾口便吃完一個,馬拉糕很香、很軟熟,乃頂級的質素。以人均六十元一位的價錢吃到如此優質的食物,CP值超高。
