To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 已經第五次食啦,以唔係任食嘅日式燒肉店黎講,佢算係最平民價格啦,我自己認為,而且味道都好合我滿意。不過晚市實在太多人排隊了,我無咩耐性等今次成十點至去到,見仲有啲時間未到last order,就決定入去食。今餐叫咗「石鍋泡菜豆腐海鮮湯 $69」、「牛角飯店$19」、「塩醬大腸 $39」、「蛋黃醬海老 $39」、「塩味牛油帶子 $39」、燒肉汁豬頸肉 $39」、「香草雞腿肉 $39」、「燒肉汁上級牛肋肉 $59」之前仲試過「厚切煙肉 $39」、「香草芝士雞肉 $49」、「塩醬柏葉 $39」、「燒肉汁腹胸肉 $49」、「燒肉汁網燒一口牛 $49」、「燒肉汁肩脊肉 $49」、「石鍋辛味牛肉湯 $49」牛肉方面我最愛食牛肋肉,而且鐘意燒肉汁嘅味道。因為我唔食牛舌,所以無試,不過都有好多人話好食。大腸我都幾鐘意食,有嚼勁。牛角飯我都愛。湯就偏鹹咗啲囉。
