To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

一家人去大埔遊山玩水，的士司機推薦去忠誠泰菜晚餐，於是試試。訂了晚上6點，剛入座，餐廳便近乎全滿，厲害！點了蝦餅、串燒鱔片、串燒牛、青咖喱雞、冬蔭公湯、炒金邊粉、焗薄餅、咸魚炒椰菜苗、酸辣鳳爪、芒果西米糕。每款都很好吃，串燒鱔片獲大家極好評，肉質彈牙，魚皮焦香，美味！結果encore了一碟，每人分到兩串，正！青咖喱配薄餅好好食，薄餅不是油膩膩那種，非常好！一串咁上好得意。蝦餅是球狀的，彈牙！酸辣鳳爪份量大，食極仲有，抵！酸酸辣辣，味道調較剛好，很開胃。咸魚炒椰菜苗咸香，又不會過咸。炒金邊粉的味道也不錯，炒得乾身，也不油膩。串燒牛也好，不太乾身，香口有肉汁。總之全都好好食，全家都好滿意，多謝大埔的士司機推薦！只是太遠了，下次有機會再來試多幾款菜式。
