To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚我們一行8個人收左工後就去左火炭搵食,今次搖擺天使梁安琪 Rock Angel就帶左我地就去她推介的龍悅開餐。今次我們點了3個孖寶餐,分別有: 清蒸沙巴龍躉仔,脆皮燒雞, 果皮蒸大連鮑魚,燒鵝皇,蒜茸粉絲蒸元貝,燒味拼盤。另外點了兩個小菜: 椒絲腐乳通菜,及紅燒豆腐。果皮蒸大連鮑魚,識我既人都知我超喜歡吃鮑魚,特別是鮮鮑是我最愛,鮑魚有6只每只都大大只,用果皮蒸很香。燒鵝皇有整只燒鵝髀,味道一流,今餐其中一道最喜歡的菜色。清蒸沙巴龍躉仔,條魚蒸得剛剛好,大大條好抵食。蒜茸粉絲蒸元貝,也很不錯,不過就得4只,好像鮑魚有6只抵一點。椒絲腐乳通菜跟紅燒豆腐,很有鑊氣,通菜入晒味,豆腐有口感夠香口,超好吃。整體這間餐廳很不錯,每樣都很有水準,今晚燒鵝皇和鮑魚我最滿意。
