To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 和男友一起這麼多年,從未試過單獨兩個人早起去飲早茶,這天他大概心情好,答應我的要求,難得放假也早起,陪我一起吃點心。蔥花炸兩腸的油條不脆,整個軟趴趴的,入口如棉,勝在腸粉夠滑漏。醬皇金錢肚十分惹味,一點也不韌,但芋頭佔的比例比金錢肚多很多,而且比較生硬。豉汁蒸鳳爪味道香濃又入味,一吮就会脱骨,齒頰留香,啃骨頭也是一大樂趣。豉汁蒸排骨令人失望,肉吃下去有一大股豬騷味,很嘔心。蟹籽燒賣新鮮熱辣,入口結實彈牙。四寶雞扎比較油膩及偏鹹。脆皮叉燒包外層不夠酥脆,上枱的時候已經變腍,鹹鹹甜甜的口味,還是不錯。假日人流雖多,但幸運是不用搭枱,兩個人7款點心加茶位再加一,埋單只是$160。但店內的衛生認差,碗碟洗不乾淨,還剩有殘渣,杯子更加裝有洗潔劑的泡泡。希望多加改善...
