(網誌原文節錄)近期吃過很多以世界各地美食為主題的自助餐,像環遊世界一圈後,我仍是時候回歸自己的地方,吃一些由細到大都吃慣吃熟的食物。這晚就來到尖沙咀Holiday Inn (金域假日酒店)的Bistro on the Mile,吃的同樣是自助餐,但主題正正就是「老香港傳統美食」,且還有大量海鮮做膽。Bistro on the Mile的自助餐的食物區一向都給人大而濶落的感覺,傳統以來都吸引本地人來光顧。配合今次老香港主題,餐廳內掛上很多舊海報和懷舊裝飾,而店內更播著許多經典的廣東歌,細心聽聽便會找到陳百強、關正傑等的聲音。各款香港懷舊菜式當中,個人最鍾意「錦鹵雲呑」。以前的舊式酒樓經常有此炸雲吞點心供應,通常都比較大件,一碟最多放到兩至三件,吃時可醮茄汁來吃,那就吃到酸甜滋味。這次的錦鹵雲呑做得較為的式,但勝在香脆鬆化。其他香港美食包括有燒味、避風塘炒蟹、豉汁炒蜆、鹽焗雞、椒鹽賴尿蝦、鲍魚鴨掌、琵琶鴨、金錢鷄、紙包骨、煎釀三寶、瑪仔、燕窩蛋撻、杞子桂花糕等。香港懷舊美食又豈止中菜呢! 港式西餐也是香港飲食文化的一部份,這次的主題自助餐都有一些港式的西餐美食。例如有焗黑豚肉飯、芝士火腿

除了老香港傳統美食外,餐廳每日會有不同的海鮮主題,供應來自多國的海產,定名為「海鮮七重奏」自助餐

到訪當晚是星期二,做緊生蠔,並有多款以蠔為主的美食,包括蠔肉忌廉芝士甜椒卷、意式蠔肉多士、蠔香檳啫喱及煙蠔芹菜沙律等。

其他平常也供應的食物,仍然豐富,尤其甜品類,真的令人有選擇困難症,不知揀什麼好,最終還是求其地揀,都揀到好嘢的,做人都係不要太揀擇,隨心吧!
