年近歲晚總是忙過不停,這卻意味着假期不遠矣。在忙着最後衝刺之際,友人號召一場收爐飯聚,忙碌過後能吃喝笑閙一番,再疲累也是樂事,也就欣然赴約了。友人選的是Holiday Inn的Bistro on the Mile,說是嚐過它的海鮮主題自助餐水準不俗。最新的主題是「滋味海鮮自助餐七重奏」,除了源源不絶的海鮮、刺身、生蠔外,還有七款不同主題海鮮每天輪流供應。星期二的主題是美國生蠔,實在是正中下懷,由友人負責訂位,晚市自助餐每位$549。平價自助餐供應生蠔已不多見,而下載openrice coupon還有8折,連加一才不到五百一位,感覺更加抵食。離港鐵只數分鐘的步程,地理位置相當方便。酒店餐廳闊落開揚,兩邊都是正向街景的落地玻璃窗,而我們正安排就坐於此一餐區。既為生蠔而來,第一目標當然是生蠔吧!這兒供應的是美國生蠔,少有的高水準!蠔肚肥壯,入囗鮮甜,吃上半打方才罷休。不過最精彩的是莧菜白汁焗蠔,白汁不會搶去自身鮮甜,半熟的焗蠔飽滿有蠔汁,比生蠔更美味。還有不少以蠔入饌的主題菜式,如忌廉芝士甜椒卷、龍舌蘭酒蠔特飲和煙蠔肉配多士,賣相精緻,味道亦有驚喜。除了生蠔外,海鮮區亦是熱門之選。主打新鮮生
