「香港文華東方酒店」嘅「文華扒房及酒吧」已連續十五年取得米芝蓮星星,最享受食西餐嘅迷人Uncle得知XO仔從未到訪,適逢壽辰就請肥肥家族全員一嚐。接待處一邊為西式嘅聖誕樹,另一邊及正門身後嘅卻係中式嘅兵馬俑藝術品,莫非餐廳走中西合璧路線?!面積寬廣嘅用餐大堂開揚通爽,光線柔和。厚墊椅櫈原來係有轆轆嘅,坐得舒適之外,推櫈都唔洗出好多力,只係相片難以捕捉。天花用上酒店嘅扇形標誌設計,立體到題得黎高雅有氣派。窗邊擺放著少許聖誕飾物,滲出大方低調嘅節日氣氛。長輩早已自備其愛好嘅Winston Churchill香檳;標準裝開瓶費為$500/樽,但都遠比酒牌上嘅標價合理。食物餐牌只有英文版,頭尾兩頁道出廚師採用之國際食材包括節令嘅環保海鮮及源自美國或澳洲嘅牛牛,盡量都會揀選本地農場種植嘅蔬果、香料等。頭盤、主菜及甜品項目共有六頁之多。點好菜,服務生先呈上免費贈送嘅開胃小食。應建議由圓碟嘅上方起順時針方向食,第一件鱒魚籽蝦他他撻皮薄餡鮮爽,右下方嘅煙三文魚紫菜卷就有少少腥,左下方嘅雞肝菠菜蛋糕仔軟彈香濃,都幾得意。麵包每人各兩款,分別為薯仔麵包及brioche,包身都好鬆軟。新鮮生蠔即叫即開。Cl
