To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

新口味年糕

每年農曆新年，總離不開年貨。除了海味外，年糕亦是經常接觸得到的。早前托朋友代在下往城景酒店取一個年糕，這個年糕與之前有點特別，是一個甜的年糕 - 紅桑蘭香子十勝紅豆糕。以往都是以鹹食年糕為主，今次卻有新的口味。面層為紅桑子 jelly，而下層為紅豆糕，並加入了蘭香子。蘭香子為水溶性纖維，是有減肥效用，無論男女都適宜食用。整個糕點可分為兩邊來吃，也可一次過將兩種味吃掉。當中紅桑子層較爽清甜，而紅豆糕層則較柔糯，亦略帶有起沙的味覺。在吃著新年的糕點的時候，也可隨伴著一杯熱茶，一併地吃著，是不錯的選擇，而且這個年糕為今年帶來新的味，打破以往傳統的口味。
