To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

新年期間如果在九龍城，不是很多茶餐廳開門，就在附近的侯王道，找了一間新開的茶餐廳。香煎厚切招牌豬扒飯配日本溫泉蛋$68，跟餐配熱鴛鴦。厚切豬扒有個碟咁大，肉汁豐富，味道十足。將溫泉蛋穿破，雞蛋汁流入飯中，混合豬扒吃，味道層次豐富。熱鴛鴦，咖啡味道比較濃，茶味亦香，算是香港式的鴛鴦。黃金流沙奶黃西多士$44 ，轉紅豆冰加$7。黃金流沙奶黃西多士，西多士外脆內軟，蛋味十足，內裏的流沙，鹹蛋味道香濃。這個黃金流沙奶黃西多士創新又美味，非常值得推介。紅豆冰，紅豆份量十足，混合花奶之後，味道更佳，不會過甜，果然是冰室的代表作之一。
