To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天經過牛頭角見到一間叫泰閣海南雞專門店,睇門外照片幾吸引,於是入去點個大蝦炒金邊粉。一般茶餐廳鋪設,唔算太迫。本來係被那無骨海南雞飯吸引我入去的,但想起是日夜晚又食放題,於是改咗一個冇咁多肉夾冇咁頂肚嘅餐。碟粉嚟到有三只蝦,頗大隻,用咗芽菜,紅蝦仔,菜莆同韭菜等嚟炒,碟粉炒得好乾身,連一碗蘿蔔湯52元,飲品另加費用。蝦需然係急凍,但處理得不錯,冇雪味,有蝦味兼爽脆。紅色的,我以為係辣椒,睇清楚啲,原來係紅色嘅蝦仔BB,所以一啲都不辣,經開牛頭角,都值得一試。
