To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 5月份,工作比較忙!下班比較晚!帶媽媽出外吃晚餐 (抗疫期間,老人家很少外出,尤其是晚上!)稍晚的潮庭,沒啥人!應該是加分項!5個月沒有來,餐牌更新了!多了很多新菜品,但我媽媽還是喜歡傳統的:#椒鹽小黃魚2條,我的最愛!每次來吃晚飯必點,今次的黃魚很大條,水準保持!#鹹排骨春菜煲,傳統潮州菜,量很足!尤其是很多排骨,以至脆皮炸子雞吃不下,要打包帶走!#脆皮炸子雞半隻,只吃了兩塊,打包翌日再吃,翻熱後皮當然不脆,但雞肉仍然嫩滑!#方魚瑤柱肉碎粥,這個也是潮州特色,2個人點小份的就夠吃!好味!滿意的一餐!還會再來!
