To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 通常都係飲茶多, 飲茶都唔錯嘅, 不過晚飯就....有所補留...茶芥果兜小食 - 以前都會係D花生呀, 豆呀咁嘅. 今次竟然係南乳味嘅小牛耳. 又硬又唔鬆, 同晚飯一D都唔配合片皮鴨套餐 - 都幾抵食嘅, $228 片皮鴨 + 雲吞雞, 加多$35就可以多一味鴨全食 (薑蔥/涼瓜)不過當D包鴨嘅麵皮到嘅時候, 成餅皮痴埋一齊, 完全分唔開, 同個侍應講佢又扮聽唔到, 要同個部長講先去換比我地. 新果碟好明顯係叮嘅, D麵皮邊又乾晒, 我地都廢事再換啦. 不過D鴨皮幾好食, 好香!!另外果味我地揀薑蔥炒, 都幾好味, 幾惹味 ^^糖水就不堪囉.... 砵仔糕 - 4件細細件都幾得意, 不過太椰子味, 怪怪咁薑汁湯圓 - 講起就火都黎... 一上嘅時候D糖水濺到成個底碟都係, 仲要係D糖水有D黑色野咁... 見到咁嘅時候心裡面都知有D野.... 點知一開盅, 成碗似茶葉碎湯圓咁, 好肉酸, 因為D芝麻湯圓爆左. 我就即刻響同一個侍應講話咁肉酸嘅, 佢又扮聽唔到. 我畢起D湯圓睇, 估計係叮得耐左, 滾到湯圓爆左仲成碗滾瀉. 見到都唔開胃. 我地再同同一個侍應講, 佢解釋果D黑色係芝麻,

如果要響呢區到競爭, 就真要改善改善啦... 唔需要花巧, 做好D傳統野就得架啦...
