To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 來到黃埔美食坊, 晚上總是比較人多。很久沒有品嚐冰鎮奶茶,來到太興食點小菜晚餐。 一進去總見到很多人已點了冰鎮奶茶,茶餐廳文化是香港人的標記,目的是用膳快速效率高快,服務和水準很多時候不會太挑剔,但當日點了餐後上菜很慢已且三度催促。。同時間下單但第一和第三碟主菜差不多相差別45分鐘。。鄰座的客人同時在催促另一味菜。。奶茶保持一向的水準很好但當日的燒味雙併叉燒大多都是肥肉偏油,點的牛腩煲亦有油脂浮面,幸好有個菜煲平衡一下。
