To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 1. 四位茶錢$522. 素鵝$88,係煙燻外層,京式(即係只係得一層腐皮,燻料用咗大量紅蘿蔔和西芹),味道很好。3. 和菜戴帽(其他驚悉餐館會叫這個菜式做和尚戴帽),其實是一碟已粉絲為主菜的素菜,上面瘋了一層煎蛋,那煎蛋做到好像旋風式的帽子,跟圓形的薄餅六件,用薄餅包住餡料食,很好味,雖然不是全香港最好的驚悉餐館的味道。4. 蜜汁火舫,這個做得很差,金華火腿唔靚,物質總是有點不對勁,沒有蓮子。5. 炸菜肉末拼叉子燒餅,燒餅跟一般驚悉餐廳都一樣,榨菜肉末的榨菜很多和淡,肉很少,但是不夠惹味,另外加了兩隻叉子燒餅要加$30,餡料仍然有剩餘。7. 知銀絲卷一隻、$24,跟一般餐廳的一樣8. 小籠包六隻$72,味道一般埋單$766.7,每位$200。我們8:15才入座,在這裏食飯會限客人食六點還是八點,我們喜歡四人坐的長卡位,既舒服又方便傾計。
