To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 超後悔沒先看大家食評。這間店真的可以永久black list。食物方面,大閘蟹雖然小隻,但多膏,其實是可以的,其他食物就不予置評,畢竟不是我們吃的重點。最大的問題是服務。這間店員真的態度超差。首先,上菜慢,2小時限時放題,半小時都不上蟹。三催四請才拎一碟凍蟹來,然後還發晦氣說再給我們補半小時。我們買的套餐是包蟹粉小龍包的,優惠上也有寫,亦給店員謝經理和冼店長看了,結果兩人堅稱不包,還大聲吆喝是我們搞錯,之後再三確認,發現是他們自己記錯優惠,不但沒有認真道歉,還討價還價表示因為是新優惠,所以他們搞錯了,可以補給我們,但汽水並不包在套餐內,一入座就主動說送我們的汽水要收返我地錢。Excuse me????汽水是你們自己送不是我要求的,有這樣抵的嗎?????難怪大家都要北上,價錢比人貴,還給這種服務態度,誰想來受罪?????大家還是避雷這店吧。
