Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 中環行過石板街上到大館對面一個挺有特色的升降機門口,上去就是Jashan 印度餐廳餐廳裝潢典雅,華麗而帶著印度文化的浪漫情懷與高雅格調。食物比較精緻,我每一類食物點了一份:脆皮羽衣甘藍茶:新鮮炸羽衣甘藍配 Trisol,用 Chaat Masala、羅望子酸辣醬和薄荷 Rel-Ish 調味。配上脆脆的馬鈴薯餅,可口醒神LASSOONI PALAK PANEER:這碟展示了传统的旁遮普菜肴,用菠菜肉汁炖的干酪,配上腌姜,味道非常出色。果阿咖哩魚:紅辣椒和椰子咖哩烹調的新鮮鯖魚,清新可口舊德里風味奶油雞:滑嫩的雞塊,非常入味烤雞:來自印度的心臟,這道美味雞肉的秘密食譜街頭美食集市:德里戈爾加帕鏡頭,薄荷、羅望子和新鮮石榴。食法有趣,先拿起上面的球,把薄荷石榴汁倒入球球,然之後將整個桌球擺落口裏面,有薄荷的緣故非常清新可口麵包方面,一定要蒜蓉馕 / 奶油馕,非常有嚼勁。印度米不可少,爽口而糖分不高,是唯一糖尿病人可以吃的米飯:克什米爾藏紅花普拉奧,用克什米爾藏紅花和香料烹製的印度香米。這個飯入口清香,而且爽而不黏。最後還有甜品,印度gelati 雪糕,打的奶非常厚滑和新鮮,配着碎杏仁入口清香
