To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上班前獨個兒來吃飯...打開餐牌, 食物選擇好少....拎住個餐牌諗左好耐都唔知食乜好...其實呢個都同價錢有關係....樣樣野都起碼成4-50蚊以上...以屯門區LUNCH黎講, 似乎好似都貴左D...同場發現有幾個內地人坐低望完個餐牌走左...因為佢地話"少選擇"左諗右諗...叫左個燒味雙併...索價51元, 的確係...很貴...諗住叫D貴D既野可能抵返D...見佢有乳豬同燒鵝揀...二話不說點呢兩樣, 點知一講話乳豬...原來係冇既...轉叫燒肉..老實講, 唔太特別...亦唔明點解會收到咁貴...燒鵝都偏肥, 皮又唔脆...冇計...元朗有間天鴻...食完真係將佢再比下去...燒肉, 皮亦唔夠脆, 肉質唔算好乾就真既...不過呢個質素, 屯門區酒樓都可能真係比佢做得好...成碟野最欣賞係左上角個幾條豆,小小辣味, 好香好惹味...不過只係得幾條..叫左基本上係太興必叫既奶茶...茶味同奶味都好濃, 理論上應該覺得好好飲...可能我口味怪異...我覺得奶味太搶, 奶味真係好香好濃,不過我個人認為配左落個茶度...個茶味當堂減低左唔少...佢唔算係差...只係真係唔係我杯茶O者.
