To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

如果你search鹿苑,你只會找到大圍這一家,別無二號,而事實上這是小家街坊小店,我甚至懷疑這是家族經營的,裏面小至餐單,員工服飾,食物配搭,大至座位環境,門面佈局都無規則可言。在這裏,可以見到正在工作的員工食着哈蜜瓜,又可以見到穿着人字拖上菜的厨師。當一枱客人吃着魚蛋米,牛腩河的時候,另一枱客人卻點了火腿通,沙律薯條,食物配搭靈活,種類迴異多變。而今天,我點了炸雞髀燴意粉,燴意粉這食物,是具有濃烈香港的色彩。一般的意大利意粉,煲完後只混入欖油備用,加上肉醬在面,吃時伴均,甚少回鍋再煮。但燴意粉是切合了香港人的口味,把意粉煮得稔些煮得入味些。如圖所見,意粉是燴煮過,再加多一堆醬,味道濃上加濃,但面條質地又不會軟爛,處理算不錯。炸雞髀是現炸的,燙的熱肉汁仍然保存在髀內,雞皮香脆可好,美味!整道菜式,誠意可嘉,這就是人情味。鹿苑雖然草根,服務亦未必及得上連鎖快餐,但卻是鮮活的,熱血的存在。難道要它殆沒在這冷漠的世界中,我們才驚覺失去的可怕嗎?
