To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

唔係好識寫食評，但都真係好想讚美一下呢間金沙角冰室。在沙角邨大排檔未改建之前，金沙角大排檔比起佢嘅黃金時期真係完全失去光彩。今日同屋企人食飯，因為附近餐廳都平平無奇及唔想食太多嘅關係，見金沙角冰室開咗一排又幫襯過，所以無抱任何期望咁去試下。侍應們都尚算禮貌，坐位亦寬敞。叫了三道普通小菜，發覺有返好懷念嘅味道，尤其係生炒骨，有拔絲㗎（無影相，下次補返），唔係一般紅色螢光甜酸汁。仲叫咗個炒菜，鑊氣同份量十足，有大排檔風範。所以特此留言，希望鍾意金沙骨大排檔嘅朋友，可以嚟試下。
