To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

很久很久以前, 同一條街上, 相隔幾個舖位, 有間歷史悠久的素菜館, 價廉物美, 學生時代的我十分喜歡在那兒午餐, 可是敵不過巨輪, 被貴租淹沒了; 很多年之後, 在同一條街上, 再次有素菜館上場,  當然要幫襯一下 此店好像試業了好一段時間, 才正式啟市, 餐牌很大路, 價錢亦公道, 單看門面, 比想像中平宜人少少, 只點了三個菜, 分別是欖菜炒秋葵 ($58), 這個是最好味的, 秋葵保持新鮮, 配較濃味的欖菜, 很配合羅漢齋 ($78)賽螃蟹($78), 這個又反而有點淡, 蛋白似是沒什麼味道後追加一碟年糕簡單的幾款菜, 說味道, 個人來說有點咸, 兩款菜的調味及芡汁多了, 吃不到菜的味道, 或者下次應該叫一些味道簡單的, 才可以試到真功夫
