To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

搬咗去荃灣一段時間，路德圍嘅嘢食就幫襯得多，荃景圍嘅就比較少。咁啱約咗太太喺荃景圍，決定一齊共進午餐，試吓附近啲嘢食。兩個人行入去，職員好有禮貌咁樣帶我哋去卡位坐低，諗住一般冰室，自己心入邊期望不大，不過不失，價錢相宜已經稱職。拎起餐牌睇吓有咩套餐，叫咗一個一般茶餐廳都有，應該問題不大嘅蘿蔔牛腩飯；老婆大人就進取啲，叫咗個和風蛋包飯，諗住試吓有咩特別之處。落完單之後過咗5分鐘好快已經整好晒，蘿蔔牛腩飯水準中上，至於老婆嘅蛋包飯，不論賣相質素都係上乘之作。食完之後，我哋心滿意足咁樣決定日後喺附近用膳嘅話都會優先考慮呢間餐廳。餐廳名稱：麥田冰室餐廳地址：荃灣荃景圍87-99號荃灣中心一期商場UG S1-G舖
