To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). 今日下午4點半同老公去這間餐廳食野，午餐選擇都可以，價錢都少少貴，不過，原來有7折，咁價錢就合理少少，原本99元一個餐，7折後及加1後,160元兩位，野食份量都算多，有沙律，迷利飯/拉面，肉及飲品。成枱都是食物。沙律都大份，一個幾好食，另一個一般，賣相靚那個好味些。個飯同拉面一般，睇個賣相都知一般。個肉都一般，份量一個比較少，另一個多少少。飲品:一般，個咖啡同奶茶一般。服務整體一般，唔夠主動。落單用電子落單，留意要按確定，如果米落唔到，好在老公醒目發現左，如果米無得食。
