To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天晚上同屋企人去食飯,我們共6人去左灣仔陶源,因為好耐無去過! 點知...個部長(王x勤)寫左個menu俾我地:1. 乳豬仔一隻(免費送的)2. 燉龍骨湯3. 西芹炒珊瑚蚌4. 蒜蓉粉絲蒸蟶子5. 蒜香鷄一隻6. 枝竹炆班翅(班的鯕位)7. 旦白杏仁茶8. 生果及椰汁紅豆糕就係以上幾個menu,就食左共 $2,150 各位覺得值唔值呢? 連翅同鮑魚都沒有?!!以上所有都只係普通野,但都收呢個價錢...簡直離譜!!!!!蒜香鷄 - 個王姓部長極力推介隻蒜香鷄, 點知脾位都係"鞋"到咬唔到, 同番個部長講, 佢竟然話:隻鷄係走地鷄,好多運動量喎,所以咁"哽"係正常喎,咩道理呀??結果,食淨大半隻~旦白杏仁茶又係失晒水準, 好似溝左好多水咁, 一d都唔好食其他全部餸都只係麻麻地, 完全唔會有一個餸覺得好味的! 就係$2,150食4餸1湯, 質素又差, 簡直搵笨!服務方面, 人手都好足夠, 但你想叫d侍應都要等好耐, 但只係得幾張檯有客囉......最後, 埋單個張單只係列出: 餐價,茶芥,加一 , 想check單都check唔到, 又逐樣餸列價錢, 好狗好似搵笨咁囉, 又費事同佢嘈啦,
