To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

昨晚遊完AIA，步行到金鐘，想食壽司，就行去元氣，在途經店舖外，發覺內裡還很多座位，想可以直入不用等，點知…… 入內後沒有人理會，看見三數人排隊結賬，一名店員在收錢，就看不到人，那時才晚上7 時50 分左右，我問了這店員關門時間是9 點，那為什麼沒人招呼我們先坐下？我前面還有一個客人在等，真的不知等什麼，這樣真的很差，坐下已是入店8 分鐘後的事。另外，這家元氣的壽司亦不行，五件中三件夾起飯團都是散開的。還可以聽到店員粗言穢語對話，服務性行業，可以表現有禮一點，別在舖面有客人地方粗話吧。
