To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

一家四口今晚出去呢間野食飯，我勸大家有小朋友都係無去呢間食飯啦，因為我細仔剛剛14個月.食飯個時食到周圍都有飯，生過小朋友同湊過小朋友都知道，小朋友係屋企食飯都係食到周圍都係，但係佢地既服務員就應該無生過小朋友同屋企都冇小朋友嘅，如果唔係就唔會等我地埋完單，仲企係門口就話我地小朋友食到一地都係飯，我地未走即係講俾我地聽啦⋯⋯我地聽到第一時又覺得好後悔來呢度食飯，我以後都唔再講幫襯佢地，我都勸你地帶小朋友唔好去呢間食啦。食完一肚氣，黑心服務員！
