To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

太安樓一帶美食林立，好多唔同類型食店。而文興記位於太安樓第一條橫街，行到最盡頭，便可以看到寫住文興記招牌店舖。中午時候，等候時間不算久，很快就可以安排入座，很多上了年紀的也來這裡吃，店內價錢確實比較便宜，有的不到三十元也可吃到一碗麵。點了南乳豬手麵加雲吞，豬手烹調得很入味，雲吞也是大大粒，而相對幼麵既份量適中，店員還主動拿額外一隻碗說可用來盛載骨頭。整體來說不錯。而店員服務很好，當入店舖未有頭緒之際，主動推介一些食品，食得辣既可以試他們店內的酸辣。
