To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

話說好友「加洲劉明軒」上個月牛一,去了日文旅行兼被求婚成功,公匙公匙!現在才有機會和她吃飯補祝生日兼暢談日本之旅,挑了到灣仔會展的「薈景」吃自助餐慢慢傾,慢慢食。其實我蠻喜歡到會展吃飯,一來景靚,全落地玻璃看盡灣仔夜景,二來人流不算擠迫,而且侍應服務是非常殷勤,食物質素也有一定水準。先吃冷盤,一系列的海鮮都是可持續海鮮,「龍蝦、凍花蟹、翡翠螺、雪場蟹腳」這晚的龍蝦很靚,蝦拑啖啖肉,雪場蟹腳也肉厚多汁。其實我們愛吃海鮮,對本地及外國的海鮮需求龐大,部分物種已經瀕臨絕種,吃可持續海鮮就是避免進食受保護的瀕危海產,吃符合可持續方式飼養所得的海鮮,支持!「西班牙番茄凍湯」,加有露絲瑪莉香草,一小杯份量剛剛好,清酸開胃。「明太子雪糕筒」「36個月西班牙黑毛豬火腿」人手即切,雖然油光不及四十八個月的貨色,鹹香度還是不錯,任吃啊。另外有「意大利巴馬火腿、辣肉腸、血腸、莎樂美腸」,各位「火腿控」應該很滿足。這天老火湯有「淮杞瓷實燉水鴨」,無味精,啱晒我哋呢啲 Dry 人一族。其他頭盤隨影:這晚的主食眾多,「日本和牛腩炆蘿蔔」,肉很有柔軟感,湯汁甜美:「堂煎和牛柳」,師傅特別地新鮮煎了兩份給我們,吃的時

今期自助餐有與「蠔」有關的菜式,「薑蔥蒸生蠔」、「芝士煙肉焗生蠔」,可能因為人流少的關係,蠔不算新鮮熱辣,像擺放了好一陣子,我反而覺得這個項目可以 skip,留肚吃其他。
