To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日黎到位於中環既哩間星馬菜餐廳。餐廳環境雅致舒適,有一排靚靚卡位,四人、八人座位,仲有可以望到海景嘅室外位置🌊🔸眼淚蝦棗蝦棗表皮炸得香脆,內裏嘅蝦肉爽彈,配埋酸酸甜甜嘅醬汁,係一道相當唔錯嘅前菜。🔸老隆藥膳肉骨茶肉骨茶味道香濃,暖笠笠非常暖胃,入面嘅排骨煮得軟腍,藥材味唔會太重,較貼合香港人口味。🔸百香果沙律蝦球蝦肉彈牙,外皮香脆,配上百香果醬,酸甜開胃。🔸芙蓉燒蟹隻蟹都幾大隻,而且係肉蟹,餐廳已經切件,方便分食,黑胡椒醬汁味道濃郁,已經滲入蟹肉當中,惹味好食。🔸正宗海南麻雞海南雞雞肉細嫩,一啲都唔會乾柴,配有豉油、薑蓉及辣醬三款醬汁。🔸怡保乾炒海鮮米粉海鮮米粉配料都幾多,有大大隻鮮蝦及魷魚,米粉亦炒得好有鑊氣。🥭🥥雪燕香芒椰子盅哩個甜品真係超推介👍🏻用椰子裝住楊枝甘露,上面仲有椰子雪糕同雪燕,最後仲可以食埋啲椰子肉,真係非常滿足~仲叫左杯mocktail~
