To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 期待已久的大閘蟹季節又到了,今天去了位於黃大仙龍翔道的「富臨皇宮」吃大閘蟹放題$498起。2小時大閘蟹放題套餐非常吸引人,有三種不同口味的大閘蟹:清蒸、油鹽焗和花雕蒸,即叫即蒸無限供應,可以讓我大快朵頤。 三款口味各有特色,最喜歡油鹽焗,惹味之餘更能帶出蟹的鮮味。 蟹雖然不算大,但很新鮮沒有死蟹,還有不少蟹膏,甘香美味。套餐提供了無限追加的京式片皮鴨,記住趁熱吃更滋味呀。每人還有蠔皇原隻鮑魚、花膠濃雞湯、生拆蟹粉扒豆苗和菠蘿生炒骨,份量很足,看!豆苗上滿鋪一層厚厚蟹粉呢!主食、小菜、涼菜、飲品也可以無限點選,對於甜品愛好者來說,養顔紅棗糕和香芒布甸絕對不能錯過。紅棗糕軟糯清香,香芒布甸大大杯還有粒粒芒果肉。
