有位朋友想吃日本料理, 最好是港島區的. 想了一想便選了這間於SOGO附近以串燒聞名的鳥居. 店看過菜牌後, 今天還是決定簡單點, 以串燒為主, 畢竟2人吃的份量不多, 串燒正合適多試幾款食物. 居酒屋的環境光線偏暗但舒適, 雖然是閒日但座上客已有9成滿. 朋友稍候才到, 習慣性的先點一份清新的鮮菜沙律, 儘是一些爽脆清新可生吃的蔬菜類, 像是生菜, 青瓜條, 西芹條, 蘿白, 甘荀條之類. 明太子雞翼是我其中一道最愛的菜色. 鹹鮮而帶辣的明太子與外層的燒雞肉是絕配. 明太子玉子是每次來鳥居的必點菜色. 日式的煎蛋捲做出來鬆香軟滑, 帶甜味的蛋捲包著帶有鹹鮮風味的明太子, 味道的層次十分豐富. 厚切燒出來充滿彈性而不靭, 素材絕無雪味. 燒的火候得恰到好處.  雞丸是把免治雞肉及一些配料混合燒再沾日本雞蛋汁來吃, 不配蛋汁吃時雞肉滑而滿口鮮味. 配上蛋汁味道則濃郁了一層, 蛋汁與雞肉的味道相當配合. 尾段點份燒茄子調節一下, 燒茄子原條燒出來內裡多汁柔軟, 面上舖的些許木魚碎更添上一份濃厚味道. 燒飯團選了3個來分享, 分別是梅, 三文魚, 鱈魚子. 我只挑了鱈魚子飯團來吃, 飯團燒得

我只挑了鱈魚子飯團來吃, 飯團燒得外圍脆卜卜, 而內裡的鱈魚子內饀軟軟鹹鹹的, 吃起來滿口鹹鮮風味. 可說是居酒屋必吃之一.

最後還是各點了一個柚子雪葩清清口及解膩. 雪葩入口即溶, 酸度恰到好處, 吃完令人胃口有點重開的感覺.  

埋單的價格大約是$1000, 價格有點稍貴但食物味道出色, 物有所值.
