To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一直相信北京樓係以食物質素服務態度保證,經此一役,我就十分後悔,連我屋企人都話唔會再幫襯旺角嘅北京樓!仲要係為我媽咪慶祝生日,覺得好對佢唔住,全餐飯不斷受氣,先係夥計好大力接近掟D杯杯碟碟,落完order之後,上翅嘅時候十碗有八碗沾滿碗邊,到切蛋糕時佢一盒蛋糕盒都未開糕就擺喺枱上,要我們提出要求才端上刀叉同碟,佢放咗一堆叉係碟上,放得唔好所有叉跌晒落地,但佢只是立即轉身走,老人家就話畀返封利是就會OK啦,但我哋後生覺得連基本服務態度都冇我哋點解仲要俾貼士,後來叫佢哋幫我影大合照嘅時候,佢哋話唔得閑叫我地自己影,當然佢哋嘅責任係唔係幫客人影相,但係我哋禮貌問佢亦可以禮貌拒絕,最終我屋企人都仍然比貼士,為此我哋都好氣氣結,不斷受氣以後都唔會再幫襯❗️
