畢竟香港地窄人多,要在插針難下的地方經營大型酒店的確有難度,近年真的多了所謂精品酒店的出現,帶來不一樣的感覺。屬於 Hotel G 集團的Scarlett Cafe & Wine Bar,地點可說是旺中帶靜,酒類及食品的訂價更是令人有驚喜。中午時段的陽光特別熾熱,先來一杯凍檸茶來消消暑。近乎開放式的格局,份外覺得開揚,全開的大門,坐在高椅上,身邊的行人擦身而過,別有一番風情,想要寧靜一點,也可以步上閣樓,那裡是廚房及用餐的地方,相對地令人覺得舒適一點。餐前的小食選擇不少,性價比更是無得輸,Mix of marinated olives ($28)混合了好幾款橄欖,慢慢的吃著,是一個挺好的消磨時間的方法。Scarlett 1meter Board (5 cheese, 5 cold cuts, 1 paté)($368)可說是全日的焦點,份量又足,每款都有七八片,把芝士蘸點蜜糖,吃起來別具滋味,如果貪平點上$298的話,相信閣下只會後悔。Tapas的訂價可說是無敵,單是Mussel marinated in vinegar ($28) ,已經令人難以置信,肉質飽滿而嫩滑,少許酸味令味道更

個人極力推介的Kurobota Pork Belly (Braised Pork Belly, Du Puy lentils)($138) ,有著淡淡的煙熏香味,外層是脆脆的,而內裡則滿是油香,肉質早已煮至軟稔,咬起來毫不費力,置底的蘭杜豆,千萬不要給賣相嚇怕,其實混有腩肉的油脂,而且豆粒亦是炆至軟綿,非常惹味。用上一整件的Scottish Salmon (Salmon Back, herbal butter)($178) ,魚片煎至脆口,魚肉跟香草牛油又配合,但個人對於三文魚的處理,還是slow cook最合我心意。

Salmon, lemon grass skewer ($28)無疑三文魚烤得外層微脆,但感受不到香茅的強烈味道。Dessert點了Apple Tart Fine ($68) ,可能天氣太熱的關係,香草雪糕很快便溶化,幸好蘋果撻咬落依然酥化可口,甜酸夾雜,吃得令人大呼過癮。
