EMPANADAS - 2 PCS 阿根廷餡餅 (beef and ham & cheese)

這是阿根廷的傳統小吃,是用酥皮包裹不同的餡料,然後烘烤或油炸。我們選了牛肉和火腿芝士兩種口味,每一個都很大隻,酥皮鬆脆,餡料豐富多汁。牛肉餡餅的肉汁和香料味道濃郁,火腿芝士餡餅的芝士則熔得很滑,兩者都配上了一種辣醬,增添了一點刺激感。

這間扒房的主打當然是牛扒,他們使用來自阿根廷的 La Pampa 的牛肉,經過炭火烤制,保持了肉汁和香氣。我點了兩種牛扒,分別是 sirloin 和 ribeye,都是三分熟的程度,外面有一層焦香的炭烤色,裡面則是粉紅嫩滑的肉質,切開後流出的肉汁讓人垂涎三尺。牛扒的份量很大,肉質很厚實,食落很有咬勁,肉味很濃郁,不會有腥味或油膩感。牛扒配上 chimichurri sauce,一種由香草、大蒜、辣椒、醋和油製成的醬汁,增添了一些酸辣和清新的味道,很開胃,也能中和一些肉的油膩感。我覺得這是一種很好的搭配,讓牛扒的味道更豐富。

這是一道法國的經典菜式,用紅椒、洋蔥、茄子、蘑菇和番茄等蔬菜炒成,味道鮮甜,有點像意大利醬,可以作為牛扒的配菜,也可以單獨吃。

我們分別點了一杯紅酒和白酒,都是阿根廷的葡萄酒,跟牛扒很搭。紅酒的品種是Malbec,是阿根廷的代表性葡萄,酒體中等,單寧柔和,果香濃郁,適合配肉類。白酒的品種是Chardonnay,是世界上最常見的白葡萄,酒體輕盈,酸度適中,帶有柑橘和蘋果的香氣,適合配海鮮或沙律。
