週一飯聚,選了位於尖沙咀朗廷酒店地庫的Bostonian,老實說純粹因為半價優惠,和地點便利之故.美式餐廳從來不是我的選項,不過是次經驗,又感覺不錯𡃓.Bostonian室內裝潢偏向古典儒雅,昏黃幽喑燈光,紅色牆壁,深咖梳化皮椅配以雪白桌布;牆上飾以多幅現代派油畫,感覺彷似在畫廊中進餐,單以這點已感覺良好了,仲管整體風格有點保守,但不一定每次gathering都要火裡來水裡去才算是有品味,對上了年紀的顧客,這𥚃應該很討喜,而橫觀四週,客人確是偏向成熟斯文.我最先來到,經侍者介紹,點了澳洲的GSM紅酒,酒體醇厚掛杯,不錯,可是價錢$600對我而言有點偏貴.晚餐我們嚐了以下項目:Starters:Freshly shucked oysters, served w/ lemon, mignonette vinegar, cocktail sauce每份生𧐢有六隻之多,鮮甜味美,雖然尺寸大小肥廋不一,以價值來説依然很抵.Baked blue swimmer crab, crispy "blue mama" crab shield, frisse salad鮮拆蟹肉醸蟹蓋,不是罐頭貨,蟹肉甜美鮮

朋友點了這個炆魚,我較好奇為何將snapper用braising處理?通常只有肉質粗厚的魚才需要較長時間烹調..最終端上桌的snapper有幾塊丁方,而肉較老味索寡,不過北海道帶子很鮮甜,sauce也濃稠好味.

餘下在座三位都選了牛柳,無一幸免地全都過熟,我的medium rare接近七成,朋友的接近八九成.雖然有點失望不過自己尚算可接受程度,牛柳本身肉味濃,伴以肉汁和牛油菠菜,掩蓋了烹調缺失,尤以小磨菇別緻可口,食量不大的我居然把整碟食物吃光,可想而知味道差不到那𥚃去.

自問對松露油,醬及塩啊這類東西興趣缺缺,偏見地認為是給大款扮有品味的合成東西,不過這個法式炸薯條撒以松露塩,卻沒有惹人討厭的人工味道,不覺間我們差不多吃清光整碗薯條.

焗鳯䔧塔造型毫不精美,不過塔餅噴香熱辣,crumble鬆脆可口,伴以冰凍云呢拿雪糕,酸甜得宜,真的好夾!感覺窩心,個人而言十分満意.

是次4 courses dinner是半價優惠推廣,原本$720,現在$360.平心而論,以這樣食物質素,真的很抵吃!可是正價呢?連酒水每位一千元,我又未必會來,始終這個價位,市面成千上萬選擇,真是有點困難啊~~
