To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 心血來潮想食片皮鴨,鹿鳴春就一定book唔到位,北京酒樓隻鴨又麻麻地,咁我哋就決定試吓北京樓囉!哎~~真係有啲啲失望!片皮鴨啲味道唔差,成隻鴨時啲皮仲係漲卜卜嘅!片好嘅鴨係皮連肉,夾埋啲青瓜同葱,食落無鹿鳴春隻鴨咁肥膩,食多幾舊都唔覺濟,幾好幾好~ 不過,用嚟包片皮鴨嘅薄餅就差咗啲,又厚又粉。仲有,我以為會好似鹿鳴春咁係我哋面前片鴨肉,個waiter哥哥俾我哋睇吓隻原身未切嘅鴨,跟住就拎走去第ニ度切,過咗一陣間就拎番2碟片好嘅鴨肉過嚟。我哋仲點咗其他菜式,啲味道就普普通通啦,我會覺得鹿鳴春同北京酒樓啲菜式比較地道!不過,北京樓個拔絲蘋果做得好好,外面嘅脆漿無炸到甩皮甩骨,又用冰忌廉汽水代替冰水,除咗外面嘅糖漿面夠脆,仲有微微嘅忌廉汽水味,都幾特別!我諗配拔絲香蕉會仲好味~ 不得不提嘅係,北京樓啲service好好~ 啲staff幾有禮貌同周到,見我哋未齊人,會主動問要唔要等齊人先上菜;我哋唔夠薄餅,又唔駛額外另點一份薄餅,仲會順便俾多份青瓜同葱啊!當日有人擺結婚酒,都咁好service,環境裝修又靚,非常欣賞,抵北京樓有咁多外國遊客幫襯啦!
