To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

又到了下午茶時間,係舊區"覓食"要更花心機,篩選過好幾間餐廳,最後在車房臨立的街道找到它…突出的"芒果黃色"招牌,推開大門,餐廳老闆非常有禮地安排座位,餐牌有多款特色菜,花多眼亂,最後點選了"常餐",沙嗲肥牛一丁配招牌炒蛋厚多士",不消一會,沙嗲牛麵到,深啡色的湯底賣相吸引,咬一口肥牛,完全吸收沙嗲汁的濃郁芳香,我終於明白為什麼不選用滑牛而是肥牛,丁麵夾雜著肥牛一起來吃,再加入丁麵必備的原味麻油,甚是滋味;炒蛋沒有過熟,但是不算滑,不是坊間加入牛乳的製法,反而蛋味更踏實,吃得出的蛋香,厚多士,厚度一般,兩片塗滿了流質的牛油,將一半炒蛋放上多士面,就成了蛋治,一於趕快趁熱吃。就是這樣,享受著如此有心思的下午茶,好讓腦袋暫時放空一下。
