記得上次去麗豪酒店已遠至小時候與洋舅母飲茶,她跟我們一桌親戚只能雞同鴨講地說「飲茶very good」,現在早已物是人非了。從來不知道這裏有東南亞菜館,這天朋友飯局,原想去沙田18,不過拖拉太久後已滿座,最後找到這裏。酷夏最適合吃東南亞菜了,想不到引來整整10大兩小一滿長桌人。四周的環境很矛盾:既是酒店但内有很街坊的茶餐廳格局食肆,餐廳明明在馬路邊又強國人爲患卻營造到一點熱帶風情,步進河夢,陳設別致,氣氛輕鬆,真有點遠離繁囂的感覺。一早已做了功課想吃南乳吊燒雞,因爲在家很難煮到。餐點的價錢以酒店來説相當抵吃,而且質素應有保證。想不到南乳吊燒雞的吸引力給招牌菜胡椒燒雞比下去,在同伴的慫恿下竟然給放棄了。結果第一輪點了小食拼盤、軟殼蟹牛油果米紙卷、泰式大蝦柚子沙律、胡椒燒雞、河夢特色海鮮炒飯、牛油雞翼和大蝦撈檬粉。小食拼盤賣相討喜,像個盛合,我只吃到香茅牛肉蝦片,味道對板。大蝦柚子沙律份量少,裝飾的花瓣比整個沙律還大,大蝦有點像玻璃蝦球,一般不是專門吃海鮮的店只能吃到這種鮮味欠奉的大蝦,沙律有點淡,味道也沒留下深刻印象;連帶有蝦球的炒飯和撈檬都是淡淡的,令人吃起來茫茫然不知其味,軟殼蟹粉卷

同桌一對小兄弟熟絡後開始搞怪,一桌喜氣洋洋。轉戰第二輪,選了燒大鱔、椰盅海鮮炒飯、紅咖喱牛筋腩、蒜茸包和燒筍殼魚。燒大鱔以一個小爐盛著,煙燻撲鼻,熱辣辣令人食指大動,大鱔帶一點蜜味,魚肉鮮嫩,值得一試。椰盅海鮮炒飯不過不失。紅咖喱牛筋腩不香不辣,同伴說牛筋腩像超市的特價牛肋條,算是整晚較爲失準的一道。燒筍殼魚油油亮,面上塗上一層味道像參巴醬的醬汁,魚肉滑溜帶點酸辣,香口惹味,令我一再添吃,連魚頭也拿了一半挑面頰肉吃。

最後是甜品時間,其實家裏已有甜點,不過大家高興還是點了一大堆:西米糕、河夢三重奏、糕點拼盤和南瓜布甸,其中最突出的是糕點拼盤的綠豆糕,是桌上唯一一款暖的糕點,口感粉糯不太甜,最特別是面上灑上一點炸乾蔥,又鹹又甜出人意表,其他甜點則普普通通。

因爲人夠多,價錢比想像中低,服務也不錯,上菜間換碟也勤快。只是餐廳位置吊腳,飯後要行大約20分鐘才到港鐵站。飯友‧美食‧萌小孩,周末就是要這樣過才寫意。
