To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

油麻地印度之夜

今次嚐了這一家位於油麻地的印度菜，有驚喜。由於友人不愛吃辣，所以大廚介紹了我們幾款不辣的印度菜，他還告訴我們印度菜其實著重其傳統香料，辣只是其中一部份。先來一個咖哩角，有一點點的辣，裡面以薯蓉為主，熱辣辣很好吃，一份三件重份量。這個菠菜蓉芝士賣相有點古怪，不過正所謂「人不可以貌相」，餸菜也如是，此菜色原來很好吃，據了解是一味很傳統的印度菜，配上印度薄餅真的是天衣無縫。這味是印度牛油雞，茄汁配上芝士的汁加入雞件，是不辣的，點Naam Bread很好吃。Naam Bread印度薄餅我們選了有蒜蓉的，上枱時熱辣辣的，吃時口感軟熟，很新鮮。
