為了慶祝每年一度的泰國盛事「潑水節」,美麗華酒店將Yamm打造成充滿泰國風情的餐廳。除了邀請Blue Elephant 創辦人兼餐廳主廚 Nooror Somany Steppe 出席開幕派對,更在Buffet內加入大量泰國元素,在4月5日至10日期間,又有泰國傳統舞蹈演出,加上不同的有獎遊戲,實在令人期待。生蠔有加拿大及美國兩款即開生蠔,前者蠔味較重,肉質爽甜;後者近年品質有進步,creamy的口感減輕,蠔味開始慢慢凝聚。Seafood Station原隻波士頓龍蝦任食龍蝦絕不出奇,但原隻奉客又真係第一次見,當拎起足足有大半隻前臂的龍蝦時,還以為在拍賀歲電影,亦未免太誇張了。由於沒有預先剖開一半,肉質的彈性及幼嫩,的確是好得多,不過拆殼要花點時間。當然仲有蟹腳、熟蝦、青口及蜆,全都是新鮮味美,肉質鮮甜,單是海鮮區走一轉,已經回本有餘。刺身有八爪魚、三文魚及吞拿魚,都是質素上乘,肉質肥美嫩滑。壽司有龍蝦卷、加洲卷、火焰三文魚、玻璃蝦、鰻魚及帶子壽司,一件也沒吃,絕非質素問題,只不過太多其他食物,只好放棄。XO醬蒸生蠔加上XO醬去蒸多了變化,幾惹味,但始終喜歡吃生蠔。香煎鵝肝用料都比人家

即場烹煮,半隻虎蝦充滿了蝦膏,又有青口、鮮魷及蘑菇,要小心,因為喝起來一陣辛勁,又酸又辣,即時額頭冒汗,真過癮。

質感幼滑,鮮甜可口。

亦多數以泰式風味為主,個人推介泰式青咖喱雞、辣椒蒜蓉炒豬肉及泰式炒河,配料簡單,不過口味二宗,都值得一試。
