To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

近日下班很愛到Airside開飯,而Chatterbox Café成為第三間!這晚認真走訪了三層都茫無頭緒,見未試過Chatterbox Café的K11 Musea店,都算是有新鮮感,一於試試這新加坡知名餐廳。新加坡是霖迪喜愛的城市之一,喜愛它的氣候、人文、美食下,Chatterbox Café有不少吸引霖迪的元素。走進餐廳高雅富格調,而不失温韾舒適的用餐空間,東南亞風結合現代元素,一室綠植襯托設計感家具,時尚風格十分「新加坡」。最初見Chatterbox Café在B1地庫,直覺價格不會太離地,但看餐牌價位相當進取,果然Airside的消費水平不低,二人用餐預算不少於$500。海南雞飯($138)也許是太晚到店的關係,原先想點海南雞半隻被告知已售罄,但名物海南雞不能不試,也就只好點一客海南雞飯了。以客飯形式奉上,海南雞是例牌的份量,甜鼓、薑蓉、雞醬是海南雞飯的標配,再配油飯、中湯,除了擺盤四正以外,說實在在外觀、配搭上,看不出跟別家有何分別。而海南雞一嘗之下,第一感覺是:這也太平凡了吧!雞皮尚算滑溜,但雞味欠奉,無論在食才或烹調上無特色之處,再加上上桌的以雞胸為主,既為店方名物卻平

咖哩雞煲配白飯及香脆薄餅($142)名物海南雞令人失望,咖哩雞煲反而更見驚喜,頗欣賞那帶印巴風味的咖哩汁,香料濃香既香且辣,咖哩汁層次豐富,本身已經很好下飯,那雞件比海南雞軟滑得多,雞味夠濃加上咖哩汁的加持,瀰補了海南雞水準的落差。

再加上這咖哩雞煲份量十足,除了雞件以外有大量的菜蔬,基本上就是個主菜的份量,特別是秋葵盡收汁醬的精華,配白飯本身已很完美,而那香脆印度薄餅(papadam)香口惹味帶胡椒香,美味又有特色。

新加坡的「咸蛋」美食同樣是必食名物,這家的黃金特色咸蛋雞翼,選用的是連翼尖的雞翼,隻隻肥美飽滿,濃郁咸香的咸蛋黃完全包裹著雞翼,既嘗到雞翼的肥嫩香脆,一口咬下又感受到陣陣咸香,滋味十足,但多吃會太膩,建議一件吃兩件止,淺嚐就好。

Chatterbox Café 的價位,再一次証明Airside開飯成本太高,若是物有所值也能不問價格,可惜名物海南雞是令人失望,而兩款海鮮喇沙開出了$178的定價,更刷新了我對喇沙定價的認知。雖然霖迪無限懷念星洲美味,對餐牌上星洲地道美有無限無趣,只是這晚名物海南雞的落差,再加上餐牌上的定價,把再訪的意慾都消滅殆盡了。
